Diving in Omis
There are many diving sites within 10km around Omis and there are some amazing locatins.
-
2000 years old Roman amphorae (27m - 90ft);
- underwater river coming out at 30m (100ft) and the bottomles pit
(probably deeper than 120m - 300ft) with the amazing quantity and
diversity of sealife;
- beautiful cave in shape of a bubble 40m across, entrance at 3m, unbelivable color;
- vertical walls from the surface to 50m
- big rocks (some of them are 20m high) in the sand which are oasis of
fish and corals;
- some shipwrecks (none of them pirate unfortunately.
